Rich traditions. Involved membership. Ongoing benefits.

Since its creation as the Women’s Committee in 1930 by Mrs. Leta G. Snow, the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra League (KSOL) has been an integral part of the cultural fabric of Kalamazoo. A volunteer organization committed to promoting and supporting the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra (KSO), membership is open to any person interested in volunteering to support today’s symphony and tomorrow’s musicians.

Through KSOL members’ efforts, thousands of area children have been introduced to the world of symphonic music, special talents have been nurtured and the KSO has received nearly $2,000,000 in financial support.

Mission Statement

The Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra League is a volunteer organization committed to promoting and supporting the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra by:

  • raising funds for the operating budget of the KSO
  • promoting the appreciation and understanding of symphonic music in the community, and by
  • providing symphonic music educational opportunities for youth in the community
