With roots dating back to 1930, the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra League (KSO League) supports the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra through fundraising, education and community involvement, and also cultivates a base of energetic and dedicated volunteers to support the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra.
In addition to providing informational and enlightening programs at our member meetings and special events, members of the league volunteer in a variety of areas, including the Instrument Petting Zoo, Youth Concerts, housing visiting musicians, and providing administrative and project support for the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra.
Through volunteerism and support of programs such as the Kushner & Company Instrument Petting Zoo, KSO Youth Concerts, member activities – and more – the KSO League demonstrates its strong commitment to music education and appreciation.

Rich traditions. Involved membership. Ongoing benefits.
Since its creation as the Women's Committee in 1930 by Mrs. Leta G. Snow, the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra League (KSOL) has been an integral part of the cultural fabric of Kalamazoo. A volunteer organization committed to promoting and supporting the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra (KSO), membership is open to any person interested in volunteering to support today's symphony and tomorrow's musicians.
Through KSO League members' efforts, thousands of area children have been introduced to the world of symphonic music, special talents have been nurtured and the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra has received nearly $2,000,000 in financial support.
We invite you to join us for a wonderful year of music, education, fun and friendship, while helping to support the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra and its education programs.
